falcorn
Remember the Akatosh Mount mod Oblivion? How good was it! The dragons in Skyrim are brilliant in the game, and the horses are a little rubbish :( Being able to mount a dragon and fly over Skyrim's vast land scape would amazing! Hope you modders create this soon :D :D :D Falcorn
NathanRyan
idk if i like this idea, even tho it does sound bada** its got some lore issues. arent you the one that is supposed to be killing off the dragons? wouldint be a little.... hypocritical lol :P
kagemio
now you can ride the dragonand if you mount dies, you get a dragon soul for free!!! but if it attacks every little enemy like the horse..."ah i see some bandits" *sneaking to them preparing for a stealthy hidden attack**dragon roars and uses fire breath*

frenchmin
"Spoiler Alert" Akatosh mount was my second favorite mod for Oblivion, under Midas Magic, and it's all that is missing in Skyrim thus far and I'm actually disappointed, both in bethesda and that modders haven't hacked this out yet. It would follow the lore just fine, the dragonborn did receive help from both Parthurnaax and Odiviing.Besides, as the dragonborn dragon blood is in you so, to follow the dragonborn standard of killing all dragons Shouldn't one just off themselves when all is said and done.Anyway, There are already quite a few landing pads, College of Winterhold, for instance.Point being, I feel as though I fast travel way to much compared to Oblivion and I look forward to many long flights over the land of the Nords on my dragon mount or, with open cities, land in a few settlements and wreak some havok.I see EPIC battles in the open skies. Rebels vrs. dragonborn's fleet perhaps,Many options become more available but either way you look at it, it's all positive.
hex_ratt
I have to agree with NathanRyan. I prefer to kill dragons rather use them as mounts. Edited September 30, 2012 by hex_ratt
GothicKitty
It is lore friendly basically because you actually ride Odahviing for the one time flight to Skuldulfin, and you can use bend will to tame dragons to ride short distances as well, but not like you can a horse mount. And you don't kill all the dragon's either. Alllies: Odahviing - Nirn (Skyrim)Durnaviir - The Soul CairnPaarthurnax - Throat of the world. Myself I consider Paarthurnax an Ally cause I think its wrong that the Blades Order you to kill the old dragon, they work for you, You do not work for the blades and Honestly Delphine needs to be put in her place. But I think this would be a cool mod idea, you are the Dovahkiin and should be able to call on your Dragon brothers for a ride occasionally.
