I've noticed that the reason seems to be that the names of the files are identical. For instance, I saw on your image that while the previous save is named "Lennian-16012901AAAA", the new one you make is written as "Lennian-16012901BBBB". So because their names are different, the older file isn't overwritten. But for me, when I create a new file, the name is always the same: "save-160528202024", and because of this the previous backup keeps being overwritten. I realize that the name of the file is based on the date and time, but I'm not sure what that means. Why is it being named as if it had been created on the 28th of last month? It's particularly weird because in the "Timestamp" section of the manager, it does display the correct timestamp even thought the name points to an incorrect date. The only way I found around this is to change the default name of the files between saves, so the previous one is "save1-160528202024", the new one is "save2-160528202024" and so forth. But then if I have to do this every time there's no point in having a backup tool. This is a really useful mod and I definitely want to use it, so I would really appreciate some help if possible. ---Edit Just looked at the Bugs section, and I am indeed running a pirated version of the game. So that's why. However, the manager DOES detect when the DDDA.sav file is edited, and it does actually create a new backup. As I said, the only issue is that the name conflicts with the name of the previous backup and the old one ends up being overwritten. In theory, fixing this would be as simple as having the files be named differently, right? -PiracyWe have a strict anti-piracy policy and we take a proactive and preemptive stance on anyone who gives us reason to believe is using a pirated version of any game or software. We only support official game versions and users should not provide help to others requesting help with unofficial game versions (e.g. cracked games).
