ModdinXerx
I downloaded Skyrim SE and the NMM on a removable hard drive a few weeks ago because my computer was in the shop. I just got it back and set up everything, got Skyrim loaded up, and tried to play it. It loaded alright, but when I clicked my character's profile, it said "This save file uses content that is no longer here" (or something along those lines) then showed a list of all the mods I had downloaded. I'm thinking it's because I have the mods downloaded on my removable hard drive, but I don't know how to fix that. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm not great with this stuff. strawbqwerty
Just a thought ( rare for me )When you get to the main load screen and have the various options like continue from last save etc. There is a option to check your mods. Have a look at this and see if you mods are ticked as active. If not, do not tick all if you have quite a number. Tick five or so then let skyrim chew over these mods and load the data . You will end up back at the main load screen where you can repeat this process. If you try to load all your mods at once ( for me at least ) skyrim chokes on it virtual chips and borks to the desk top.
ModdinXerx
That worked! I didn't know I had to go into that screen if I wasn't using mods through the Bethesda website. Thank you so much!
