my game keeps freezing when i use V.A.T.S.

it doesnt always happen immediately but it seems every time i enter upon a large group of enemies (i.e a settlement, group of supermutants, raiders) and i use VATS alot itll let me kill most of them but then when theyre almost all dead then ill go back into VATS to kill like the las guy r something and my game will freeze on him. it doesnt always happen like that though but i know or sure now its definately every time i use VATS. yeah i could just suck it up and not use VATS but survival is hard and its nice to hav at least ONE thing to rely on heh

I'd look at some of your mods that may potentially affect VATS. I don't use any weapon mods at all so I don't have a lot of familiarity with them. But names which indicate to me at least a possible thing to check would be mods related to scopes, sneaky kills etc.

hmm okay. yeah that mod is supposed to make it so i can basically backstab someone either with melee or bare handed and insta kill them like alot of other games do. (which should have been in base game in my opinion)
