trainer doesnt train any more

at alchemy skill 37, arcadia took the money for lvl 38, the lesson was subtracted from the 5 available per level, but alchemy did not raise. it kept 37. after one more lessen, it raised to 38, and one more to 39. 40 was not possible because the double 37.

after a level up i wanted to train to 44. arcadia took the money, the lessons were subtracted from the 5 available but no skillup at all, 5 lessons but still 39.

i deinstalled the game, istalled again with no mod, just the old savegame- same result at arcadia.

 

she never did that before. i played a couple of game, noone beyond55, alchemy was at 75 once, with pickpocket and without it, never trouble with arcadia.

 

the only new mod i had active at this time was the npceditor, with whom i made a lydia esp, a sideeffect from that lydia mod seems to be the only explanation, although it seems not reasonable.

anybody else problems with trainers like this ?

I have exactly this issue with ALL trainers. Unfortunately, I have no idea what's causing it. I've taken to using the console to raise my skill by one each time I train as a workaround. It's not perfect since I don't gain exp towards the next level like you should, but it's the best I can do. I assume it's a mod issue, but I don't know which one. I've tried figuring out which mod it is by uninstalling mods and testing, but no luck so far (and I have a lot of mods). Does anybody know which mod might cause this?

I have the same issue but it seems to be limited to Smithing, I've never had it occur on any others. No idea what causes it either and it's always at different levels, I've been working around it by going and training with the next level trainer, in your case with Alchemy that would be Babette I think.
