blaydon
It may be those greetings are already in there and it is just a case of scripting to force a specific greeting rather than a random one. So a check of faction first then hold then profession and finally the random or skill based greetings if you are not in the same faction and not a thane or have some specific rank. Akadian2011
Created a similar post to this one before i saw this one.. I totally agree would be aaaaaamazing if someone creates a mod that makes guards especially faction related guards take note by greeting you with a manner more appropriate to your rank/title that you attain. Once CK is out really hope someone takes note of this post and creates a mod for it i'm sure it will get a looot of endorsements and appreciation. If it works correctly then it would def be one of my favorite mods. GL modders
JanusForbeare
A few of the greetings already exist in-game (at least for some of the voice actors for some of the factions). For example, male imperials will sometimes greet you as, "Legate" once you've attained that rank in the Legion. As an addition to this mod, it would be nice to see appropriate promotion rewards incorporated into the factions. For instance, when I become a Legate, I want some damn officer's armour, not an axe that does 5 points of cold damage. blaydon
Quit agree about the rewards perhaps a shield and a decent weapon plus suitable armour. I know that there is a greeting for most of the new ranks in there somewhere it would seem to be that it is just a case of some sort of prescedence for the greetings. So Imperials check your standing in the legion first and respond with a rank specific greeting as a second check for rank in the hold you are in if it is one with a resident imperial officer. City guards check for status in the hold. Any mage checks if you are a mage yourself. this kind of thing is what we should have.
