Xtheth
Hello, I've been a user of the Nexus for a little while. Mostly with Skyrim.I just got Fallout 4 on sale on Steam, and immediately started downloading mods. The nexus mod manager says it cannot find the Fallout 4 INI file, please run fallout 4.I have done this, and it still says there is no INI file.I went in to the file location, and changed a file "Fallout 4_default.ini to just Fallout4.ini and that still hasn't worked. Can someone help me get my mods in and running? spoungeeddieIV
i just started modding on cyber monday and i googled a tutorial How to enable moddingNavigate to your Fallout 4 Folder at the following location "Documents/My Games/Fallout 4" Within this folder you'll find a number of .ini files. Open (or create, if missing) Fallout4Custom.ini with your favourite text editor (we use Notepad++). Add the following lines to your Fallout4Custom.ini [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= Save and close Fallout4Custom.iniThat's it, you're ready to get modding! :)
