Flintlockecole
Get a trap, set some peanut butter in it. If you catch the creature set it free on the other side of a body of water, I.e on the other side of a bridge across a stream.
Vagrant0
To save you the trouble, rat poison doesn't work very well, and might lead to a sick/dead squirrel in your wall. I would second the trapping solution.
McclaudEagle
While I'm not totally sure it would work, there are devices on the market that, when plugged into the mains, it sends some form of 'nerve-waves' which makes entering the house unbearable for rodents. Basically, it sends these waves through-out the entire property by using the cables and pipes. They're primarily designed for mice and rats, but might work on other rodents too. I have on in my house after having a mouse problem, and never seen or heard a single mouse since. And when I mean it makes it unbearable for the animal, it's not painful to it, it's just like a person walking into an everyday electric fence...not particularly painful, but not exactly comfortable either. Keanumoreira
Burn them with napalm, get a stick, and whip up some squirrel on a stick. :D

CommanderCrazy
I would get a vermin removal specialist in to quote the house. There might be other nests.
