dueldragon
A few days ago, i had a problem, the game crashed always when starting a (vanilla) new game, using the bed when using live another life, and getting out of the abandoned prison in Live another Life. I narrowed down the problem, it wasn't any mods, it was ENB. I tried a different version, same thing. And right now i'm lost, and i can't find a post that can help me with the problem. I just can't stand the way vanilla skyrim looks. GTX 1060 3GB CPU i5-6500 8GB of ram Edited December 3, 2016 by dueldragon
snelss0
Go to your skyrim folder. Delete any file that starts withenbSMAAD3d9 Delete any enb related folders you have and then start this process new. Now that you've wiped out the last ENB, start your Skyrim launcher from steam and make sure in the options that Subsurface and Antailiasing are turned off. Then Exit the launcher instead of starting the game. Now lets proceed with lets say Snapdragon enb (I chose this because in the profiles there are many visual styles you can use if you prefer it to look like a different ENB). 1. Download the latest skyrim enb files .v308 from ENBDEV.com2. Open the file and navigate to the wrapper folder. Then drag the d3d9.dll and the enbhost.exe into your Skyrim folder. The same folder TESV.exe is in.3. Now download Snapdragon Prime ENB V4.1 manually.4. Open the folder and navigate to the "Install" folder and highlight everything there and drag it into the same Skyrim folder.5. Open your mydocuments/mygames/skyrim folder and open your skyrimprefs.ini and change the values in it to the same that he mentions on his page. If you can't find one or more of these in the skyrimprefs.ini, just add the line in exactly as mentioned. Save and exit. Here below is what you add/change. Under the topic [Display]iMaxAnisotropy=0iMultiSample=0bFloatPointRenderTarget=1bShadowsOnGrass=1bTreesReceiveShadows=1bDrawShadows=1 Now, if you've done all of that, you've installed your ENB perfectly and it is likely your problem is elsewhere. Why don't you first try a fresh install: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/906390-cleaning-skyrim-for-fresh-install/ Then make sure your load order/Install order for your mods resembles this: SkyrimUpdateDawnguardHearthfiresDragonbornUnofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch[all other .esm files][All other unmentioned mods][Textures] (Things that improve graphics. E.g. JK Skyrim, SMIM)[body Meshes/Textures] (UNP, CBBE, Mature Skin, stuff like that.)[Animations] (Fores New Idles and anything that uses FNIS or changes the way your body moves)Xp32 Maximum Skeleton ExtendedAlternate Start - Live another life[some patches may go here, let LOOT decide]RS_Patch (for real shelter mod if you get it)Dual Sheath Redux Patch (if you get it)

My load order is sorted by loot, and afew changes by me who need to be at the bottom. I heard somewhere that it may be caused by my GPU not being compatible, but i'm not sure. And i use realvision, meaning it changes the ini settings by itself after pressing "SET INI" in its install launcher. snelss0
My guess then would be maybe some setting in your GPU needs to be tweaked or it's just not compatible, but I've never heard that. Hopefully someone else can help ya.
