Fin6123
ok so my skyrim was working perfectly yesterday, but today it crashes after the bethesda logo. i havent added any new mods or anything, my graphics card is up to date same with my system and steam and skyrim, i have tried running tes5edit but it says their is no errors with the launch. if tried uninstalling and reienstalling it twice. ive tried running it in windowed mode and it doesnt work, tried changing the sound too all the different options in controll pannel. Can anyone help me? Im running it through steam on windows 10, i have just base game no dlc, also my system can easily pass the minimum requirements to run skyrim. Thanks in Advance for any Advice

snelss0
You can try clearing your Steam Downloading Cache from your steam settings and see if that fixes it.

snelss0
Maybe try deleting your skyrim.esm, update.esm, dawnguard.esm, hearthfires.esm, dragonborn.esm from your skyrim/data folder and then revalidate your cache through steam. Open your Steam > Library > Right click on TESV > Properties > Local Files Tab > Verify Cache. Then if you've cleaned your .esms through TES5Edit, you will have to clean them again. This worked for me and some other people, but not everyone.
