doop
So I am at the final step of installing SKSE (so I can use skyui), and I open skyrim with the launcher, then I go to do the last step (edit the editor with skyrim opened) and in both the cmd line and the shortcut I get a "cannot find creationkit.exe" error. What am I doing wrong? I was under the impression that the creation kit had not been released yet. I read somewhere that skse doesnt work with the retail box version, and indeed that is what I have, however where I read that was for a Mac system and I am on windows. If the problem is that I have the reatil box version, will I never be able to use SKSE in the future, even after they release the kit? if so that blows. If that is not whats wrong, any ideas? Thanks. micalov
Its designed to work via versions connected to steam, if your not running a version tied to steam? that maybe why.
doop
Nope, my version is definitely tied into steam. Where is creationkit.exe suppossed to be? in the main folder with everything else? Why would there be a creationkit.exe when it isnt soppossed to be out?

doop
OK the readme was just unclear, didnt need to launch it with the cmd or the shortcut. Sent an email to the SKSE creators and they responded very quickly! Thanks!
