zachthepyro94
When I tried to use a re-texture of the imperial sword, and now all the imperial swords have this weird multi-colored blocky pattern. What can I do to fix this?
Dingenskirchen
Hoppla, just had my 1st coffee. Didn't read fully. But out of suspicion .. Have you checked the "load loose files" option in your launcher? Edited December 31, 2011 by Dingenskirchen
zachthepyro94
I just tried it, and to no avail. Any more suggestions?
FaejaVu
I would first suggest that you make sure you put all the necessary files in the correct places. If you have the ability to do so, check the .dds texture file for the re-texture to make sure that your problem isn't there. I doubt that is the issue (unless the re-texture also includes a remodel, in which case, you'll have to make sure you've included the mesh that should have come with your re-tex mod.). Other than that, I don't have any "grand" suggestions.
zachthepyro94
The people said to extract it to the data folder, do I copy and paste it IN the data folder or the same folder as data?
scrivener07
You want to put the folder "Textures" inside the data folder so it looks like Data\Textures NOT Data\Data\Textures or Skyrim\Textures.
zachthepyro94
Does this work with steam?
FaejaVu
Does this work with steam? Of course it does. This site only tolerates legitimate versions of the game, which unfortunately inherently involves Steam. Even so, legit or ill-legit, the mods will work regardless simply because the files and folders of both games are obviously identical. So long as you follow the directions of where the files of the mod are supposed to be placed, it should work.
