pra
Why does the Dragonborn have to destroy items to learn enchantmens? Obviously someone must have been able to do it differenty, or you get a chicken-egg-problem. In Morrowind you were perfectly able to just bind known spells to items, too. Porting Morrowind-style enchanting to Skyrim might be impossible or overpowered, though. So, instead I propose Enchanting Tomes, similar to Spell Tomes. Purchaseable from certain traders, they simply teach you a certain enchantment on use, which you then have, as if you disenchanted an item with it before. If there is a mod which improves Skyrim's enchantment system, and especially if it has been ported to the SE, I'd be glad if you post a link. I couldn't find anything. Fantafaust
That sounds fun, I'll try and see if it's possibleEDIT: What enchantments would you like to see?EDIT 2: Can't be done by scripting, so far as I can see. And Enchantments aren't like spells so I can't just add them to the player.I CAN however, make a series of cheap items that are only good for enchantments, and spread those among the leveled lists and such? pra
Lol, are enchanted books or misc items possible? If yes, you could make enchanted books which you have to disenchant. Otherwise, mh, make it as a dagger with the mesh of a book? With the side effect of being able to whack people with books.
Fantafaust
I currently have defense enchantments on little "orbs" and attack on "picks"(shivs). To answer your question about misc items and such, I can't get them to show up, let alone put the enchantments on them lol Edited December 15, 2016 by Fantafaust
