Argonian Meat Shields.

As we all know, Argonians are the most useless race in all of Nirn. They have crummy stats, crummy bonuses, and there's a race better than them at everything. However, fear not! I have found a practical use for our scaly friends, meat shields!

 

The idea is that an Argonian NPC would be bolted to a large, wooden shield. It sounds like all aesthetic, but here's the plus, the Argonian absorbs all of the damage. Since it's an NPC, and not an actual shield, you don't take damage with hits like with a normal shield. It can also be unequipted and set aside for Marksmen skill powerleveling since it can be hit and attacked like a normal NPC.

 

The downside is that it'd be ridiculously heavy, best for heavy combat users only.

Not only would there be significant issues given that you can't actally wear an NPC, and trying to do it with just a piece of equipment that happens to use meshes for an argonian would not be advisable due to the polygon count that it would have with it. But more importantly, I think the Argonian Defamation League, the Black Marsh Empowerment Association, and maybe even BETA (Bretons for the Ethical Treatment of Argonians) would get on your case for attempting to try.
