Skyrim PC on non xbox 360 controller

Hi guys i have skyrim for pc and i want to use it iwth a controller. The porblem is i do not have an xbox 360 controller. Only a speedlink strike pc gamepad. Is there any way to get skyrim to recongise and be able to play with this. I have heard of somethingcalled xpadder coulod that be a soloution if so how would i use it?

 

Any help would be aprreciated :)

Theres a program called X360ce that emulates the input for a 360 controller. I got it to work with a Staitek Cyborg Gamepad , the only problem was that the key sets are binding.

Wow. Skyrim limits what kind of controller you can use? If PS3 players can use their own controllers then there's no technical reason PC owners shouldn't have a choice.
