natranr
So I am on Windows 10, SSE is installed on C which is an SSD. I am using MO2. Now I remember from the current number 1 file on the MoM it says MO2 can't handle BSA right, and I wasn't sure how to unpack them. Could that be causing the purple hair and issue with mountain textures? Here is a picture of both issues I have. Notice Uthgerds hair and skin and the mountains in the background. http://i.imgur.com/RnwGu3G.png I'm going to start trying to unpack all the BSAs now to see if it fixes it. I also attached my load order below.
strawbqwerty
HelloI use this BSA extractor. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/974/? Works a treat and dead simple to use. Not only does MO2 not handle BSA`s Skyrim SE does not handle old Skyrim BSA`s as well. MO2 just does not unpack BSA`s like the old MO. BSA`s will work with MO2 if they are done for Skyrim SE. There is a tool folder in the Skyrim SE folder. In there there is a tool for creating new BSA`s in the right format for Skyrim SE. I believe from what I have read and you can see this in the data folder. You have to have textures as a separate BSA. Every thing else can be in packed in one BSA. Texture will most likely need converting as will the nif files.
natranr
Thank you. Now I figured out it was Northfire's Photoreal mountains causing the glitch on the mountains. I've removed that. Now is it the issue with Oldrim BSAs and packed BSAs causing the issue with certain NPC hairs to be purple and their skin to be really dark? strawbqwerty
Purple hair and black face used to be a problem with apachii sky hair some time ago. May now be a problem with Skyrim SE. If you are using the old Skyrim apachii sky hair mods you may need to get the ported ones. That is if you follower is using that hair. I too am having issues with black face and purple hair. Which is i think a texture issue.
natranr
I got the Apachii textures to work. The problem was with Diversity - An NPC Overhaul. I did not realize that LOOT didn't recognize it and that the esp had to be at the bottom. So I edited the meta data in LOOT to have it load after the bottom esp and now the skin and hair textures for the npcs being effected are back to normal. Thanks for all the help!
