A shop just after the beginning...

I tend to shop in Riverwood to sell and buy. But it occurs to me that it might come in handy to place a building/shop just after you exit the first dungeon. Or, if that isn't easily done, modify the Riverwood shop so that a) he'll have more gold, b) more stuff and c) more gold :P

It should be leveled to your own level but he should still have enough equipment to fuel a wet dream héhéhéhé (just kidding)

Then another shop could be one that sells everything period. Every item that purchasable in the game. Except that the higher level stuff is so expensive you wouldn't be able to afford it without cheating.

On another note... I can't seem to see the details of any files anymore. I'm not entirely sure why. I can browse just fine, but when I try to download it, it just stays on the first tab. Any thoughts on that one? This is also why I'm not sure any of the above already exists...

Your not really supposed to have that much equipment or 'stuff' so early in the game, even if you take a couple of side trips along the way (up the mountain to the barrow for instance) Plus it's really only a very short trot between Riverwood (it has a general store and don't forget the blacksmith as well) and Whiterun (3 blacksmith merchants + 4 food/drink + 1.5 general goods { .5 = if if the Kajiit caravan is out front} + 1 apothecary + 1 magical goods ... If you think you need more than that, there you must be cheating to get equipment or up your carry weight, so just cheat to get gold instead

Then too, Upping the amount of gold they have would kinda mess up the "Speechcraft" perk tree, as once you get high enough, you can 'invest' in the shop which hugely increases the amount of gold they seem to have.

that's true I suppose. The same is true for oblivion though. The market district was only a short loading screen away. with everything very close. So I figured why not d something similar for skyrim?

Because it wouldn't make sense to have this huge shopping district right outside the cavern exit?

If you really need more stuff, just add onto the Riverwood Trader, or go to Whiterun.
