sexbas Posted January 1, 2012 Share Posted January 1, 2012 While the armors and weaponry are awesome... I feel that some of the items doesn't look in a coherent way. For example, while the studded, hide, scale, steel and steel plate armors feel "nord", the ebony, glass, elven, daedric and leather doesn't. And even worse, the ebony weapons don't look coherent with the ebony armor to me... not at all. Before someone states a lore argument for that, let me say that my argument has to be with the smithing. If my character is an imperial, then why should he look like an nord if the steel armor was crafted by my character? If my character is a nord, then why can't his crafted ebony armor look in a more nord way? Why can't a redguard craft more "redguardish" weaponry and armors of higher trier? The request is kinda huge. Weaponry and armors that look like handcrafted by each race, so an argonian can use an armor with the alloy for the elven one and still look argonian. A nord can use an ebony armor and look like a nord, and so on... One way to achieve it could be the use of some of the items in the Arcania game, some of them with a retexture could be used for the purpose of having a nord style ebony sword, a redguard style dwarven scimitar...
