Preparing to reinstall my system. What to expect with NMM?

Hi, guys.

 

I'm considering reinstalling my operating system, but it's always a pain with reinstalling all my software and other stuff.

 

More important, I'd like to know how easy or hard it will be with the Nexus Mod Manager. The manager itself and the mods are not on the same partition as the system, so I'm hoping I will be able to reinstall my Skyrim mods fairly quickly.

 

Will I have to download the mods all over again or will the manager be able to pick up my downloaded mods and I will just have to enable them? Also, I'm still using the old NMM (before the big 0.6 update). Will I be able to install the latest version and install my existing collection of mods?

 

Any advice on the subject would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
