glittershoes
Hi everyone. Please forgive me if this has come up in the forum already. (I searched & searched and couldn't find anything like it.) I use SKSE to run TSVAL, which works wonderfully, however, when I launch Skyrim this way (via the SKSELauncher.exe or through the Nexus Mod Manager SKSE option) Skyrim "skips" to the "Load" menu (continue, load, quit...)--the menu that comes up after you hit "Play" in the main menu normally. Which means I can't change graphic/audio settings. (Unless I'm missing something.) It's not a huge deal (I can change settings launching normally, save, quit and then launch via SKSElauncher, I'm wondering if there is a simple solution to this? FYI, SKSE & TSVAL are both running just fine. Thanks all, g Edited January 2, 2012 by glittershoes
MShoap13
SKSE's container method of extending Skyrim's capabilities requires the game run through it and not through you clicking the "Play Game" button on the default Launcher. In the past some highly skilled modders have come up with replacement launchers that allowed some of Silverlock's other Script Extenders to work through their 3rd party launcher (OBSE for Oblivion fore example). Until then, you're stuck launching the game and getting to the graphics options exactly how you described it.

Ok, at least now I don't feel like a complete idiot :)
