Modmanager not installing mods

Make sure you're not just downloading them and not activating them. I'm not sure this helps, but since I'm cautious, when I launch Skyrim, I click the "Data Files" option and load loose files. Make sure none of those mods require SKSE, and where is your installation path for Skyrim? (C:>Program Files>ETC.) Edited by nukafish

Also keep in mind that NMM is only good for installing plugin files and replacers, which go in the \Skyrim\Data\ folder. Any mods that need to go in the root installation directory (the \Skyrim\ folder) are going to have to be manually installed. Luckily, the vast majority of mods available here come with a readme that includes installation instructions. Mods that include a Plugin file also need to be activated via the mod manager and ensure that all .esp files (plugins) are lower in the load order than all .esm files (masters). You should also avoid even opening the Data Files section of the Skyrim launcher as it could potentially rearrange your load order causing problems ranging from broken mods to CTD on startup.

If you're sure you've properly installed your mods and they still aren't working there's a handful of troubleshooting advice available so post back and let us know if this is the case. If you do so, please include any mods you've installed, the exact filepath you installed them in (all the way back to C:\), what version of Windows you're using, and any other information that may be relevant.
