Purr4me Posted December 10, 2016 Share Posted December 10, 2016 in the following image will show you all the assets we are not allowed to upload with this sort of help session, but the plugin will see all of these with in the GECK. This is the base tool I use for modding the games assets. For what ever reason the GECK wants to include the data ,know that it is required for the things to work right.Pack Brahmans, cattle/ two headed cows are used to port weapons on, a pack animal so the GECK knows this, all associated data required for weapons are shown here for a simple plugin. yeah, you can not include it all but then, again, you will have issues too. Places where weapons are stashed at, inside containers, "Clutter" or set as loose in the world spaces, interfaces, scopes , ammo, Pipboy, Projectiles are the bullets used in the data calls...This is what you ask for. Effects, results of shooting the weapons ,characters that use them, NPC's...people in the game that carry them.Buildings where some are stored, world spaces interior places, on walls, in desks, ammo boxes, what ever the data calls out for, shown here is correct. "01FalloutMainSourceFiles" is the Vanilla games assets extracted and set as loose file format so the Plugin can see the data, so the GECK will see the data. DLC packages I prepared for fast "annihilation" in modding things is what you see here in this tool. Weapon data uses up 42.7 Megabytes on the hard drive, what you see here that is held with in the BSA archives for the Vanilla game source materials.you will also notice, there is no sound files shown, this is because extracting all of those sound files kills ssd drives and normal drives. So I don't burden my equipment on sound data and Windows leaves me alone about it. There are there at game run time. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Purr4me Posted December 10, 2016 Share Posted December 10, 2016 Its a single esp file.How do i install an esp file? I usually just open them in geck or activate them in mod manager. And if i open it in geck i dont see any difference. I mean i see the weapon list and they are the same like in nilla. Geck shows the files are modified but they are the same numbers and options for me.I made what you needed to alter, anything you see with an astrix you can now mess with and not be fearful of the out come, you have a base, you have a complete listing of all the weapons. you decide what you want to do, it has both aiming and non aiming data. I just couldnt figure out how to make perfect npc patrol, cause i couldnt link the followers to the leader correctly. I could link only with object ID which wasnt too good cause once leader dies they stop the route. In the past i could linked them with the "select linked reference" but nowdays cant cause it doesnt apply to the leader.When I return from a road trip I am about to leave on, I'll see If I can find the mods already built, becasue what you describe has indeed already been done here......Thinking...oh boy, it's been a while, authors of vault1, made character overhauls with weapons and armors, and follower mods, lot's of em too.But I can't remember their names. They started out in 2008. not active any more but their mods might still be here. on the File side at the top, there is a category drop down, choose it and go through categories. I'm a complicated Woman in a man's world. So yeah, My writing for mods and things are rather hard to follow. There is no middle ground for newbies and Veterans. Open the possibilites to use more weapons not only lincoln/a32 late.Next to it i want to put some new freindly and enemy NPC-s into the game mostly with patrolling which generate some more encounters.And i just like modding so i will make it myself. :DSo its basilcy nilla with balance and some new contents.
