GoodfellowGoodspring
My first guess would be the creation kit which hasnt been released yet, but seeing as i only have experience modding with the esp files you might need other software to edit. bben46
First, why would you want to open the BSA files? Not needed to play the game, not needed to mod the game (yet) And even then, most mods created will still not need to open any vanilla BSA files. Making changes directly in a BSA can cause problems unless you know exactly what you are doing. Mods overwrite the BSA, and do not make changes to them except in very special circumstances. You may try some of the tools used for the older games - such as BSA commander from Oblivion, or OBMM (a new version is supposed to support Skyrim also) which has a BSA unpacker function. Although as I have not tried it, I don't know if the unpacker works for Skyrim yet or not.
coreypikes
Google it..... Sorry, had to say it. Go to SkyrimNexus or TesNexus and search for BSAOpt. If that doesn't work, just search BSA.
