TobyJake
I am familiar with bat files. However I made a bat file to make an npc marriable. It does work, I have Faralda as a wife in another playthrough....A weird thing is now happening, I modified the bat file, added a couple of new lines. Now if I run the bat file it stays the same as the original version.I tried it with a new save and it still uses the original. So removed it from the Skyrim folder. Made a new character. And lo and behold, I can run the bat file even tho it isn't in the Skyrim folder!!!...This can only mean that the bat file once run, is stored elsewhere, Very strange indeed.Any advice or tips greatly appreciated. cdcooley
The bat files can live in two places. In the main Skyrim game folder or in the Skyrim\Data folder. The ones in the Data folder have to have the .txt extension and the ones in the game folder shouldn't have any extension.
