I'm gonna mod myself a 2-horse drawn wagon house that has all the amenities of a home in it.

Wait... maybe I should mod myself a Floating Castle in the Air that follows me around in the sky when I go adventuring? lol

there is a suggestion for you. Khajit caravans. Make one and travel around the world(until u get atked by bandits). Maybe you should get some bodyguards too.

Good suggestion!

i like to store my items, stolen goods, skooma( i m a skooma addict :P), stolen people's clothes(pickpocket lv 100) etc etc in my house in whiterun. But i just go around sleeping in other people's beds and bedrolls etc etc.

If you want a decent, simple Skooma mod for roleplaying - including craftable Skooma - there's always this one: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5902

You can get a house for free.

Goto the Bannered Mare In Whiterun and talk to

Uthgerd the Unbroken.

Challenge her to a fight. If you win, you can ask her to become your companion.

Then, once she is your companion, look in her inventory and take her house key.

Her house is across the street from Breezehome, behind the Drunken Huntsman.

It has several containers you can use.

If you put expensive items in the containers, the inventory label turns red, as if it is owned.

But when you take the item out, it is NOT flagged as stolen.

I tested this by leaving some Daedric gear and weapons in the drawers for two weeks.

You can drop Uthgerd as a companion and keep her house key.

I just use barrels to store stuff in, until I can afford Breezehome.

I use the barrels in Riverwood and Whiterun until I have 5k then I buy the home and move everything there. There's really no need to save money in this game, you will be overflowing in loot and gold before you know it.

I use mods to lessen the money from chests and urns, and a mod to make selling prices way low, and still just have way too much crap.

By the time you get to level 40 you will just stop looting altogether. There's just to much loot in this game, even with mods to lessen it. It was made for the Xbox generation after all.

One shot a bandit, get chest and 40 potions.
