Torack234
I searched the forums for this and couldn't find a topic about it. Anyway, I downloaded a mod earlier today, works great and everything. But in the description it stated that in order for the mod to work for newly created characters, the user had to turn on the addin. I just want to know how you turn on an addin. As far as I know, there's a addin folder in C:/Documents/Bioware/DragonAge/Addins. I don't know if that's what it's talking about. Thanks in advance. Thandal
@Torack234; You'll have to let us know the specific mod you're talking about, or we won't be able to help.
Codifer
I am going to presume that the mods that you find not working are those that add items automatically to you characters inventory. When you install such a mod it will add items for all current characters. It will not, however, add items to new characters. I believe that this is patch 1.04 related. To get the mods items (rings, armour, weapons etc) added to a new character's inventory you must first de-activate the particular mod. To do so: start your game, when the main game page loads look on the right hand list and find "Downloadable Content" (or some such). open that area and then click "Installed Content" (upper right). In that screen you will find all of your installed addins. From there you can de-activate any and all mods which install items directly to your character's inventory. Once de-activated (un-checked) you may then create your new character. After creation save your game, exit game and then activate the addin mods again. When you restart, you will have your items in inventory. Cheers
