Hello, im trying to find out how to export a "usable" uv map from a mesh in nifskope...

When i press the, export uv button, all i get is a .dds file that Is completely white with grids indicating the area of the "blocks".

Are there any other methods?

highlight the uv map on the mesh, right click and select texture then export template, set the destination and hit ok. . it will create a tga file of the uv map.

should look something like this.

yop that is correct, the areas relate to faces or areas used from the texture set.

Btw, if i want NifSkope to show the texture on the weapon, how do i do that?

you need to redirect the texture set path,I changed the texture path on this, the normal and others were not changed...this is simple example.
