FunkyGandalfCat
Hello everyone, recently I reinstalled my skyrim and changed to Mod Organizer, everything goes smootly. So, I was going around and download some mods, when I remembered an must have for me.SXP(Redone) and Skyrim Uncapper.Back when I used NMM, I had no trouble with this Skyrim Uncapper. But I cant get Skyrim Uncapper to work with Mod Organizer. The issue is that no matter how many different ways I try to install the Uncapper, it will not work how it should, in this case, to work along SXP, completely disabling the vanilla levelling. setting the SKSE_Elys_Uncapper.ini correctly. like the SXP tell you to do, like this:fAlchemy=0.0fAlteration=0.0fArchery=0.0fBlock=0.0fConjuration=0.0fDestruction=0.0fEnchanting=0.0fHeavyArmor=0.0fIllusion=0.0fLightArmor=0.0fLockpicking=0.0fOneHanded=0.0fPickpocket=0.0fRestoration=0.0fSmithing=0.0fSneak=0.0fSpeech=0.0fTwoHanded=0.0 MO virtual folder does not let you change files directly, so first I tried downloading and manually installing directly on Skyrim Data folder(with correct ini settings). Didn't work. Then I tried unpacking, changing to the correct ini settings, then I packed again and used MO to install it, didn't work.I dont know how to solve this, tried googling it and tried different ways, nothing solved. Surilindur
You can edit an ini file. MO has a dedicated tab for it in the window that pops up after double-clicking a mod in the left hand side panel. If you have file A in your Data folder, and another file A installed through MO, then the A from MO will override the one in your Data folder. If you make a new mod in MO (navigate to the folder where MO keeps your extracted mods, then create a new folder), paste a new ini into that one (the mod folder is the Data folder, so adjust paths accordingly), and then "install" the mod after the original mod with that file in the MO left hand side panel, the new "mod" you created will overwrite the ini from the original mod. Other than that, maybe some of the SKSE logs created in your game folder could help make sure the actual plugin gets loaded. I think one of the logs lists all plugins SKSE loads. That could help make sure the plugin is loaded in the first place. Hopefully that helps a little.
FunkyGandalfCat
Thank you for the help. But I figured out what I did wrong, it seems I forgot a little tiny detail on the INI file while editing, a single letter was missing in one of the lines, needless to say this was blocking everything to work properly.
