Dragonhighking91
i have an npc who will work at the set time (which is 8:00am in game) but at 8pm he is supposed to go sandbox in his house for 3 hours before bed at 11pm but he refuses to go inside. I am using a custom worldspace and i tested my navmesh and there is a path for him to walk on. any advice?
JoKelly
just curious, did you happen to copy an existing npc. I had that happen with a couple of NPCs for a mod I made for myself and out of frustration, I deleted the NPCs and re-made them from scratch and viola they followed their packages. though set times never seem to work correctly in Skyrim. Dragonhighking91
No I actually made him from scratch I'm not sure what the issue is i just tried finalizing the navmesh in his cells
duude98
Is the inside navmeshed too? Is there at least one green triangle in front of the door inside and outside? If the NPC is inside at 11pm, does he go to bed? If so, how about when you set him up to do something inside from the outside that isn't sleeping? Dragonhighking91
yes the inside is navmeshed i finalaized it and it works mostly but i have one little issue he waits at his doorstep until i use wait for 1 hour then he goes to work and he now leaves work at 8pm and goes inside like he should. duude98
Sounds to me like your navmesh around the exit is a little off, waiting automatically sets actors to the places they are supposed to be in most cases. I would tweak that bit of navmesh until it starts working (after a backup of course)
NexusComa
Try cutting it down to where you just have him walking in for testing ...
