xenovie
hi, remembering an rpg game i played in the past (I think it was Lineage II) i think there's an option for a class with a lower str but higher agi to be pretty competent warriors due to the availability of agi-based blades but there are still limitations, i think, that make up for agi-based combats, i don't remember what. but i imagine if you're agi-based combatant in a combat, you'll probably be more vulnerable against strong thrusts/attacks, so you'll stagger more easily if you're trying to block the attack instead of dodge but maybe it does have its advantages, maybe slightly weaker, but instead of just a faster rate of attack (perhaps not even that), maybe there's actually a chance to sever the enemies, preventing them to attack momentarily... i mean, i have that in mind because i'm using the deadly reflex mod. maybe no agi-based combats has the chance to decapitate the enemies... but to compensate, there's actually a chance to sever some of the enemies' limbs instead. man i DO wish there's actually a way to make the elves somewhat become warriors. even if they won't be the best, who knows if there's an agi-based combat, they would actually make a decent or the best spellblade class ever... the first thing that comes to mind what kinds of blades would be agi-based would be foils, epees, sabers... who knows, maybe even a quarterstaff... or maybe someone can come up with a system for quarterstaff where it involves half str half agi, ... Abramul
Unfortunately, chance-to-hit (in Morrowind, affected by agility) is one of the things dropped in Oblivion.
