theastroboy Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Hey guys, so this is my 7th playthrough and the quest "the way of the voice" has worked fine for me thus far. But today when I re-rolled on a new character and started the quest, the greybeards did not assemble when I entered High Hrothgar. Arngeir will still approach me but the other greybeards are still wandering around. So this causes a problem when i'm supposed to receive the knowledge to unlock the word of power. (I will try to talk to the other greybeards while they are wandering around, but they ignore me.) I have disabled all mods, but the bug continues to persist. Deleted1572091User Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 I didn't have this bug on my first playthrough, but my sister did. I couldn't find a solution, or anyone else with the problem, so I used the console to painstakingly progress that and about 2 other quests, on account of the greybeards being lazy bums. Just now I was playing a second character and encountered the same bug. Frustrating to say the least. You can progress past it, mostly, but it's still going to be a bit broken.
