sasuke245
Hello everybody! I am thinking to buy Dragon age. But I wonder whether my system is good enough to play it. I would be great if somebody tell me whether my system would support this game smoothly or not? My system information:- 8 GB DDR5 RAMAMD Phenom x 4 955 processor (Quad core with 3.2 GHz)4 GB DDR3 Nvidia GT 520 (I know this is a horrible GPU)'Windows 7 64 bit Professional Edited January 4, 2012 by sasuke245
dazzerfong
DDR5 RAM? That's new............ Anyway, you'll be fine: DAO isn't very demanding to begin with anyway. I have a Core 2 Duo, 9800 GTX+ and 4 GB DDR2 RAM, and running with the settings pretty high (except AA).

mareczek00713
Don't worry - I have dual core 2,5 ghz, 2gb ram and 512mb graphics card and still I run DA:O with highest settings and Dragon Age 2 with highest available (I'm using windows XP). Fraps tells me that it's 50-120 Fps, so you shouldn't have any problems. I just don't know if you're joking or have some problems with your PC (if it's the second one just try installing new drivers - it solves most of the problems. Thandal
Yeah, the GT520 is pretty low-end (these days! ) I know. I've been looking for a single slot, single power-connector, DX11 card myself to upgrade my GT240/1GB. So I checked it out. It's like they cut every possible corner to get DX11 into the cheapest possible package!?! But DAO was written before DX11 was standard, and you should be fine with what you have.
