The best Neck Seam Fix?

Detailed Faces mod causes game to crash when disabled, interestingly enough.

 

Are we talking about this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26/?

 

If so, it can't imagine how it could crash your game. It's just a new face texture and a new specular map.

 

EDIT: On second thought, it COULD crash your game, if the face textures used instead of the ones provides by "Detailed faces" are in a wrong file format or messed up very badly otherwise.

 

To be able to start over, reinstall CBBE. Let CBBE overwirte everything it wants to override. If that doen'st do the trick, you have more than just a neckseam issue...

I simply used the Remove Mod option from MO instead of just unchecking the .esp. It's fine now. The game doesn't crash. And no more green face! However, under certain lighting conditions, i do see green discolouration in the face and neck. I was overjoyed and giddy when i found this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76607/? . And the hue of green looks JUST like it does in the screenshots provided on that mod's page. I install it, and it doesn't seem to do anything...

 

Darn... What else can i do? Should i still reinstall CBBE as you said?
