New warnings box in CK64, an architecture that can't be interacted with.

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Looking into something from another thread, I went into CK and discovered a new box that appears, as soon as CK loads the masters (Skyrim & Update) with about 18 warnings, and a "clear" button.

Prior to this CK update, I had been using the blockallmessages ini tweak, with success. I don't know if this just turned on an option I hadn't previously seen, or if this is a new feature, but it's rendering my CK basically unusable. Once I clear the warnings and get it to go away, it comes right back when I move my mouse, with many more warnings (stopped counting at 76) including things taking too long to post process?

I know the live update just happened, and the launcher updated my CK before I signed into it tonight. There seem to be a lot of warnings about shaders, and one of the issues is that certain ice-covered structures just can't be selected, once dragged in.

Has anyone got any insight as to what this combo of live update and ck update has changed? Is it able to be fixed on my end, or do I have to wait until Bethesda gets around to "fixing" it again?

The CK got updated to V1.3 and this new warnings box is a "feature" that came with it.

I hate it.

We all know that Skyrim.esm is buggy and the DLCs are worse. Why add a pop-up box that keeps throwing it in our faces? Open a vanilla NPC and click on preview. Up jumps this box telling us that it can't find the hands and the textures should have been converted offline. Open a vanilla interior and you get errors about missing fade nodes. Why are you telling me? They aren't my errors. I didn't make the game.

Whoever thought this was a good idea, got it wrong.

If there's an ini setting to turn it off, I haven't found it. It can be resized and moved out of the way but it all adds to screen clutter.

I resized it down to a tiny box, and hid it down along the bottom of the screen. It's still an annoyance, but not as bad. (Thanks again, Old). Not sure what they're going to do about the unselectable pieces, but the OP of the other thread posted it on bethesda.net, so maybe something will be fixed. Hopefully.

Wow, just encountered this myself after foolishly loading the Beth launcher and updating. Thank goodness for the suggestions here that will at least get this annoyance hidden way off the render window.

For goodness sakes, is there anyone at Beth that knows what their doing? <Forgive my venting :nuke: >
