For example, the Witch King helmet mod requires you to find the item of the mod, while the Wringwrath mod enables you to buy the items (of that mod) in a shop. Most mods give the location or hints of the location in the description of the mod and/or comments on the mod. I assume that when making a mod of your own you can choose yourself whether or not you must find it (and if you have to find it, where you can find it) or buy it. Somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Not too sure about the second question so...
JJFALK
I can't get some my mods to work.they are in the data files and all but when i go and get them it's a big yellow thing or it's invisible. Can someone help me please.
bben46
JJ - The yellow box with the exclamation point is an indicator that the game was unable to find a texture for some object. Usually from a recently installed mod. When you use some unzip programs, such as winzip sometimes they do not put the meshes and texture files in the proper place. Instead of winzip or winrar, use 7zip. That is what most of the mod makers used to zip the mods. And not only is it FREE, its available right here on Tesnexus http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15579
