LE Bound Sword becomes Buster Sword Mod

Hello,

 

I have another mod request for the modding community. I was wondering if someone could replace the Bound Sword spell sword with the Buster Sword mod found here: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2699.

 

If that didn't quite make sense, what I want is for the Buster Sword model to appear when I cast Bound Sword instead of the generic sword model that appears when you cast it. Any help would be appreciated!

I *think* all the bound weapons use the Daedric models. If you swap the Buster Sword in, then the Daedra swords would become Buster Swords. Unless you made the Buster/Bound Sword a unique model, which is hard as yet. ^_^

Yes, I was hoping for a more stand-alone mod rather than make every Daedric Sword into a Buster Sword. I had thought it might be possible to make without the CK, as someone has already made a custom Bound Dagger spell (http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3132), so I thought making a Bound Buster Sword type spell would be doable as well for now. How would you go about switching the Daedric model with the Buster Sword model in the mean time, do you know?

I don't know. I know the information is out there, but I don't have it, I'm afraid. It *IS* possible to do what you're asking-- a unique model sword, summonable-- as things are now, it's simply difficult, because making it happen without the CK is like trying to work a vacuum cleaner while blindfolded. There's lots of poking and prodding and wildly varying levels of usable feedback until something goes wrong, or something goes right.

 

Keep an eye out for tutorials, you can save yourself a LOT of headaches by learning what other people's headaches have been like.
