MidbossVyers
My character's nose pokes a bit through, so if you could make the Cowl just a bit bigger. Also, instead of being added immediately to one's inventory immediately, could you please put this Cowl in the chest at the foot of the bed of Dareloth's bedroom: http://images.uesp.net/4/42/OB-interior-Dareloth_Guildmaster%27s_Quarters.jpg That way only people who have completed the Thieves' Guild quest line can get it. But besides that, all other dialogue seems to work. If you or someone else has Knights of the Nine, please add that last part with the Way Shrines. Septfox
Guess full 1.17 scale is needed after all. Hrm. Alright, I can do that. It'll take me a few to find and edit the chest, I'll update this post when I'm done. Edit: Done. Created a unique container for the end of whatshisface's bed and rigged the existing one to call it instead of the generic leveled one. Auto-add quest and script removed. Cowl is now full x1.17; let me know if the eyes are lined up right. http://www.mediafire.com/?9bodo0bnf1xoep9 Edited January 6, 2012 by Septfox
MidbossVyers
Yep, everything (save for the Way Shrine thing) looks good. Thank you. If you want, be sure to upload it to the Nexus, as I'm sure other people who play x117 also have this issue, and if any of those people have KotN, they can add that final thing. MidbossVyers
Oh, and one other thing, there is also a race called Little Elf: http://www.4shared.com/file/96380575/a26135a8/LittleElf_up15243_.html which uses an x125 head size (don't know why). Could you please create another standalone copy of the Cowl and place it in the same chest as the x117 version?
Septfox
No :\ ...what? Quit staring at me like that. Stop it. FINE GAWD.You owe me a piñata for this. Stuffed with cats. Don't ask me what I'm going to do with it >: \ I'll edit this post when I get done. Here you go, I think I got all the dialog set.http://www.mediafire.com/?ap3d2g371u2rdwq Edited January 24, 2012 by Septfox
MidbossVyers
I thank you for your prompt responses in both this mod and the others. Cats? Black, what, calico, anything specific? But, in all seriousness, if you released these to the general public (probably in a bundle), I'm sure everyone who plays these races will appreciate it because I sure do. Are you on the Children of Cyrodiil site, by any chance?Edit: The Cowl, for some reason, is still a bit too small. There is some clipping on the sides, so if you could make it bigger horizontally, it might make it fit. It might be because of the way I set up my character's face, though... Septfox
I like how you called my responses "prompt", then I made you wait nearly three days :\(had to leave on a trip for work, I was re-scaling and uploading the two helmets before I left at noon...11:55am, as I'm writing my post here, my internet dies because the phone company decided to do maintenance JUST then. didn't have time to wait it out, sorry. my original message is below) Just a mixed bag of'em will do. Whatever you have laying around, don't go out of your way or anything. Probably a combination of the way your character's face is set up, and my not making fresh egms to fit these heads. The helmet probably isn't scaling properly in relation to your character's cheek width.Simply increasing the mesh's width should still work fine, though. And no. While I imagine that the whole lot of'em is harmless, there's some fairly strong..."child-loving" overtones around there, particularly where outfits are involved, if you catch my drift. Creeps me out a bit, which is saying something since I like to think I'm pretty thick-skinned at this point :\Not to mention, I have no use for the GGC_Blind body and its variants, which as I understand is what most of their conversions are based on. 'tis too skinny and feature-lacking for my taste; I prefer slender, not childlike. And since the x117 head is universal...I just stick in onto HGEC A-cup and FLY's lowerbody, and viola, absolutely no reason to visit CoC. Back on the topic of your hood, scaled it on the X axis by 1.1. http://www.mediafire.com/?usi2wxs09j6xqsjJust overwrite the old nif and you should be set.I'll probably get around to releasing these as a full mod some day, but it won't be today...I'm leaving in about 40 minutes to go make some money. Barely have time to get your other thing done and pack~ I'll do it tomorrow if I'm not too busy.
MidbossVyers
One last thing, unless I'm paranoid, the eye holes of the Cowl seem a bit too high. For example, here is the face of my character without the Cowl: http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk213/MidbossVyers/Oblivion/ScreenShot11-4.jpg Yes, she's a vampire. Here is her face with the Cowl: http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk213/MidbossVyers/Oblivion/ScreenShot11-3.jpg As you might see, the faint pupils shown on her face without the Cowl are on the bottom of the eye holes with the Cowl on. It's a minor problem, but a probable fix might be to scale the Y axis by the same amount, though it might require testing to confirm.
Septfox
Scaling Y would increase its front-back depth. Scaling Z is what you mean I think. The problem seems to be that your character's eyes are overlarge and um, not in the stock locations. The un-facegenned head fits pretty much perfectly. Soooo I've scaled the helmet by an additional .0500 on the x axis, added 0.1000 on the Z axis to help with the bigger eyes, and moved it down an amount I forgot to keep track of. Lets see how it works out. http://www.mediafire.com/?95z79b7gg9e6tot Really wish facegen morphs could be loaded into Nifskope, it'd make custom stuff like this so much easier :\
MidbossVyers
http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk213/MidbossVyers/Oblivion/ScreenShot11-5.jpgThank you. It seems to be fine now. And yes, I'm not familiar with nifskope, but I did assume that with 3d stuff, there should be a third axis. Also, in terms of my character's face generation, I couldn't have imagined that there would be this many problems. I just edited the face with the standard face generation and gave her vampirism. Sorry for the resulting inconvenience.
