Crafting and Spell Mods will not work.

I was prowling around and saw Tytanis' and Midas' spell/craft/etc mods and thought they would be cool to try out.

So using the Download Manager I installed Midas and in the plugins I checked the .esp for it. When I ran the game

and went to the Winterhold Spell Tome vendor the only books you could buy where the original spells. After trying

a few different ways of loading the game, w/o Nexus Mod Manager, Launch SKSE, Running as Admin, (a few others),

I gave up. I then tried Tytanis' Mod and it was the same as if nothing had changed even with the mod enabled. I am at

a loss as to why I can't get them to work. Any suggestions?
