cazaam
What idiots!!!!! They're like any other animal on earth. They will do what it takes to survive. To them, it isn't a farmers flock of sheep. its an easy meal to conserve energy. think, humans are bigger than them mostly so like every animal when threatend will warn (bark in this case) then defend, or bite. Think if it were the law of the jungle (survival of the strongest) and someone threatened you, and you ended up killing them you would take their food. Its how they survive. Dude you shold totally e-mail these bastards and tell them theyre bastards. (well not really in case of abuse charges but you know)
kungfubellydancer
Cars alone kill more people than wolves (unsupported statement). I'm more afraid of my fridge going homicidal and falling on me than a wolf attack. Why the prejudice against wolves? What about bears? We have tons of deer here, and they are a road hazard and a far larger farm nuisance than any wolves. Actually, bring some wolves over here, maybe they'll kill the deer and we won't have worry about our cars or ourselves getting totaled.
Vagrant0
I think you're getting heated up over nothing. Outside of their own little circles people like those don't hold much, if any importance. Heck, they're so unimportant that there isn't any online criticism about their "movement" despite the number of well founded arguments that can be raised. More importantly, by pointing out these groups, even to say what total nutjobs they are, only makes them, and their cause, better known. That said, they do seem to make some (few) points. Wolves are animals which will attack anything they see as food. This includes livestock, pets, and children. In packs they may even attack adults. Now I don't know about you, but when I'm out on my morning jog, I really don't want to have a pack of wolves chase me down and turn me into a meal. (and no, I did not actually read their site beyond just glancing at it briefly) The story here is about one habitat encroaching on another. As areas of the country get inhabited by people, the areas that wolves and other creatures can inhabit gets smaller. It doesn't seem to be some irrational fear of wolves that is driving the cause, although that fear does seem present in how they're trying to reach people, it is the simple matter of people comming into contact with a recovering population (due to conservation measuers being in place) of wolves. They don't seem to be proposing extinction, just killing off wolves which have taken claim to areas that humans also inhabit (as a means of population control and forcing away groups of wolves). At any rate, it sin't likely to happen because there are so many interest groups out there that would put a stop to any sort of killing, needed or not. Their lack of citation also kinda kills any chance of anyone who matters from taking this seriously. If anything, I'd be tempted to think that the whole site exists only for the reason of having this guy's documentary seen.
ResidentWeevil2077
Damn this is just too funny ;D To think that someone is actually propagating this sort of nonsense is rightly outrageous that it becomes hilarious roflmao Anyway, if I'm to be afraid of anything, it's stupid people driving on the wrong side of the road, and I end up hitting that deer KungFu mentioned
