Landsknecht
What about bears? I agree, in fact, I would say bears are the biggest threat to America. http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m36/InfoLandsknecht/colbert.jpg
Vagrant0
As a horseman/rancher in real life......I already have beard-envy of you, and now you tell me you own a ranch?! DAMN YOU BUDDAH!!! But seriously, I live in Mississippi, people this stupid are fairly common, I try to ignore them. I think you're getting heated up over nothing. Outside of their own little circles people like those don't hold much, if any importance...Down here, people like this (mental morons) pretty much run the entire state.Too true, Woogie. Missouri has the same problems.Fortunately when it comes to making laws, they tend to have a very significant fight on their hands. They pass a state law allowing the slaughter of a species which is on a conservation list, and they take alot of heat from special interest groups. Few politicians would really risk their career over something like this without more concrete evidence. Remember, most politicians are there to re-assure you that your beliefs are right, but are really only looking out for themselves.
Marcus Wolfe
One thing we must keep in mind:Wolves are the sort of creatures that will generally leave you alone if you leave them alone. So, as the old saying goes, let sleeping dogs lie. Farmers need to take preventative measures. If you insist on leaving cows out in a field all day and night with no fences, at least keep a pack of Dobermans around.I have also heard of another method of deterring wolves that involves playing recordings of wolf howlings every night before sundown. (be sure that it's an agressive 'stay out of our territory' type howl, and the pack recorded was at least 8-15 wolves). As for people.......anyone who takes their family into a forest full of wolves is on their own.

Marcus Wolfe
Wolves live mostly in places humans generally don't want to live, so why is this even an issue?

Marcus Wolfe
I understand that nobody wants to live next door to the guy with a massive, vicious mutt in his back yard, but then again, that dog isn't really a problem to you until you hit a baseball into his yard.
