City area FPS drop

Hi

Images are here http://imgur.com/a/moWNs Hope it works.

I tried the 'FOV 0" but after the patch so no results.

Thanks for showing & explaining what is going on in the game. I looks like only the complexity has gone up over the editors I used to add & test game content way back in 2003. Keeping track of things back then made my head spin. Not my cup of tea.

The 4k is resolution. The size I use is really UHD-1. My other monitor is UWQHD or 1440 widescreen. Here is a nice graph.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution#/media/File:Vector_Video_Standards8.svg

Only a few games really benefit from 4k resolution. Fallout 4 & Dragon age Inquisition do but Skyrim & Witcher 3 do not. They look better on a wide screen. Skyrim SE is a toss up.

Computing has been my hobby since the early 80s. It has been always lots of fun. The "Look" of a game is most important to me is because this is my favorite art form & I want to display it in the best possible way.

To assume? they say this here in cali that it ,makes and ( ass-u-me ) and my parents long told me this so I could remember how it's spelled out in English.

South America is so far behind me and the US is so rich in diversity's that we can bring in the new year under better circumstances.

Assumptions have predilections with them in languages, meanings can have the same outcomes even with all of that going on or it can have different meanings is worded incorrectly.

Happy new year to all those whom might partake in today's life styles no matter where you live, or whom you might be or what you might believe. There is always going to be differences. Put the differences aside and think hard about the future, it is we whom decide what takes place by our attitudes and an understanding of what lies beneath a meaning.

As a hobby, Video games can have their day's. It's how you play the game that counts. Every one plays them "differently"

It's come a long ways from the 80's. Imagine what the world "might" have to offer us in ten years time?

----------------------

in the shots you made, was the patch "successful" in those areas?

You now have a template of what is required to fix the game. A lot will depend on your understanding of the basic principles I applied.

you must be careful about how you go about things, research the parts through out the structure and make sure what you do does not break the base game.

The kit, Garden of creation kit is the only tool meant to set up things for this and any game.

Tools, 3rd party tools allow us to change things the kit will not allow, but when you do that, you change how the game will respond.

When you post about things you may see, as this thread demonstrates, there is great diversity in understanding a meaning. Pictures truly do speak a thousand words and yet none.

Edit something and know, for each edit there IS going to be an optimist's reaction to that edit. That means people will not think the same way about it.

Happy new Year !

Hi

Wicky Shipping area is now good. No framerate drops with old & new saves.

Hangman's Ally is the same. No drops with saves that have no settlements there. Drops & some stutter with saves that have settlements.

Did a fun test. I use stealth to cross Boston instead of a jog. 60fps all the way. Could speed be a factor or less NPCs becoming aware?

Strange stuff.

Other than the targets I selected base on the logic behind it, Health status, weight...what your charring (Noun--- [countable and uncountable, plural charrings] (http://www.yourdictionary.com/charring) and objects that are shared among other mods. Objects counted.

Could speed be a factor or less NPCs becoming aware?

No.

Drops & some stutter with saves that have settlements.

list them please. with or with out mods.

not concerned with mods more or less becasue what I do is override them anyway.

The trouble is the type of mods I use are mainly armor & weapons for settlers along with CBBE.

Since I mod manually it is easy to go vanilla by removing the entries in the Appdata files. The only mod remaining is CBBE without the patch. My game runs a perfect 59-60fps everywhere like that.

I may continue to play a vanilla save to see if & when the slowdowns & stutter come. I have a feeling that it will start at level 30 with Nuka World.

Please forgive me, I have no idea how to interpret this?

CBBE description pages:

These meshes have a total of over 21k vertices - compared to the vanilla body's modest 1750 - for optimal smoothness. In tests there have been no reports of these high-poly meshes causing any slow down, but may still be too much for weaker systems to use, so be warned.

which is not vanilla and effects results. All NPC's within an environment will be effected, therefore an outcome will be relevant if ran under these circumstances.

Included in the optional downloads is a Texture Resource archive providing the source photoshop .psd files with Diffuse, Normal, and Specular textures. These files include the base texture data used by CBBE, as well as the following additional options (as hidden layers that can be activated.)

Does not exist within Vanilla games software packages.

Under that pages "required" icon shows clearly a massive amount of mods are dependent upon CBBE's as a resource.

On Bodyslides main page it lists this:

Note: As of version 3.8 of BodySlide, this utility requires OpenGL 3.3. If your card does not support this (cards that meet the minimum system requirements for Skyrim should), you should not update BodySlide until you can get a better card.

Downloading all relevant data associated with CBBE

So far from what I've read, there stands too much of a chance the games world spaces @ each encounter are far from vanilla. "Not vanilla."

  • 3 weeks later...

I want to add something to the discussion.

Mods that NPCs, like RaiderOverhaul, Super Mutant Overhaul, Tales of the Commonwealth, will bring stutters. Its probably related to FO4Edit edits on the NPC record. If you are suffering from stutters and use such a mod, turn it off and try again. (The mods mentioned definitly are the cause for stutters.)
