PyroMaster2
I have downloaded several mods that told me that I need the Data Files option in the launcher to check it. But the button is greyed, I have a valid purchase of Skyrim but the button, it's not working for some reason. Can you guys please help me? This is my only problem. Perraine
Depending on your Windows Version, you should have a Skyrim folder somewhere similar to this C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Should be a SkyrimPrefs.ini file in there (it's just a text document) or Alternatively you can search your HDD for it, Look for a line that says: [Launcher]bEnableFileSelection=1 (make sure It's set to 1 and not 0)

Reni91
I tried this multiple times and it still doesn't work. I've made sure that it equals one and everything. It's even at the top of the file. I don't understand. Please help. Edited January 14, 2012 by Reni91
MShoap13
I tried this multiple times and it still doesn't work. I've made sure that it equals one and everything. It's even at the top of the file. I don't understand. Please help. This line belongs under the only [Launcher] section of the SkyrimPrefs.ini located at the aforementioned directory. Placing this line anywhere else in that file, or in a file located in the wrong directory (most people have a SkyrimPrefs.ini in their installation directory as well) will not allow it to work.
