Sorcerer's Tower

I'm thinking of a quest / house mod, set in the summerset isles.

 

Basicly it starts out when you get contacted by an altmer sorcerer, through either dreams, daedra messager or something else, he invite you to get to his little kingdom in the summerset isles(a island with a setlement populated by altmers suspection to outlanders and a few dremora guards, and his own big tower)you couldt get there through boat or teleportation magic. As you meet him on the top of his tower he sends you on a quest to recover

 

1) A Daedric Crescent, from battlespire and morrowind, if your familiar with the morrowind method, Divayth Fyr, the most powerful sorcerer in morrowind, had a amulet in his tower, this amulet teleported you to a little room in oblivion named Magas Volar, here you found a Dremora lord named Lord Dregas Volar holding a Daedric Crescent. Maybe Divayth Fyr has some errand in Cyrodiil and bought his amulet with him, and in excange of a little errand, he will give it to you, then you can get to Magas Volar and get the Daedric Crescent from Lord Dregas Volar, either though voilence or a small task

2) Kagrenac's tools, the nerevarine is the ranking blade in morrowind, so it would make sense that the elder council got they're hands on it.

3) The totem of Tiber Septim, most likely also hold by the goverment.

4) The eye of Argonia, atrifact made up by me :thumbsup: the eye of argonia whas ment to be the game to come after redguard, but it whad canceled becouse of redguards lack of success, I'm thinking it to be hidden deep in a cave close to the border to black marsh

 

When you come back to give the sorcerer the last item, he stand before a gigantic saphere (BIG blue sigil stone) and reveal that he wish to use the artifacts and the saphere, a big soul gem that can consume the souls of all his citizens while they're still alive, to make himself a god. From here you got 3 options

 

1) Give him the last artifact and serve him, he will reward you with items and money, and allow you to use his tower as your own.

Kill him and:

2) Use the artifacts to make yourself a god, results in new powers and permanenlty increase your attributes and skills.

3) Destroy the soul gem and free the villagers, they will reward you equally of what the sorcerer would if you served him and give you his old tower.

In all tree cases you get the rule of the little settlement and a magic-orientated house(with deadric guards!), else then that you can choose to become a god, witch means power increase, choose to help the sorcerer, if you're not up for a tough fight, witch gives wealth and infamy, or help the villagers if your a good and tough character, witch gives wealth and fame.

 

I imagine the sorcerer to be using a heavy armor robe(see the picture if you choose sorcerer premade class)Kagrenac's Tools will have to be textured and scripted for oblivion :unsure:

I SUCK at modding but I think this is an ok idea, so if someone would use it, or at least get inspired from it I would be happy :biggrin:
