hazerddexzero Posted December 24, 2016 Posted December 24, 2016 i removed all my mods reinstalled skyrim reloaded my save without any npc texture mods and it still has this bug is there 0 fix for this am i to be plagued by this bug forever?!
Daemosdaen Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 This is because it is baked into the save, you best bet is to start over without the offending mod.
pathtopower Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Yeah, once you meet a character, if by some fluke or removing a mod that changed said character face values. This black face bug will happen and because the data of said actor has been saved into the save itself. Nothing much can be done to save said character other then starting a new game. This will reset all the parameters of the npc actor's to its original value until you meet em. Kinda why a lot of modders who change npc faces often recommend you start a new game to prevent the black face issue.
