Ramagast
You actually have the "Strings" folder, it's just packed into the "Skyrim - Interfaface.bsa" archive that game always loads.Unless it fails to do it for some reason. But I remember that the first version of Wrye Bash for SSE didn't actually work unless we unpacked this archive ourselves - and we did. Actually, there was a theory that unpacked strings were the reason for the bug, but it was quickly disproved. It's still there somewhere, in the beginning of this long topic =)
Ramagast
But. "Skyrim - Patch.bsa" also have "Strings" folder. And it probably the one that loads last.Since the problem hit after one of the updates I cannot help but wonder if the things became messy because of it.What if for a percentage of players game fails to load correct .bsa or loads the wrong one last?Edit: both sets of strings appear to be identical though. Ramagast
By the way, tried the new SKSE, but I'm getting an instant crash just by trying to launch the game with it. Guess I'll check it when it will actually come out of alpha =)

Guess I'll check it when it will actually come out of alpha =) Sorry mate it's causing a ctd, worked fine for me, but then it screwed with Hunterborn as it wouldn't start it's scripts! Untill it's a stable Beta release and the main mods that use it are ported and stable I suppose is the day we can go nuts! One thing I will say that I'm hoping is a fix sort of for me, because I get the bug when Smithing or at the Tanning Rack, I have installed as a work around SkyAI Skyrim Add Items, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11252/? Hopefully by doing this I'll just circumvent the bug and not have it annoying the crap outta me, we'll see, I love Smithing my own items though ... walshy71
Okay, so I doubt it is connected to the save corruption bug, it might be, but my game has started crashing when I open the map.It started after the latest patch. The creation club one. And it seems to only trigger after I have entered or exited a building. I can open the map safely straight after loading the game, but not after entering or exiting a building/dungeon.I tried undoing all other changes I made besides the patch, no fix. Anyone else? It's SSE Fixes - something doesn't work with the new update. You can go to Data\DLLPlugins\FPSFixPlugin.ini and set ReplaceFormMap to 0. Technically, it nearly disables the mod, but should stop the crashes. Update now released for SSE fixes by meh321 for the new CC update!

Still haven't had much time to play recently... hoping that some time I'll be able to get back in and actually play, and not have any bad experiences... lol Edited October 7, 2017 by Gothpunk4Christ

Edit: both sets of strings appear to be identical though. If you unpack both bsa. then check the properties.... Interface/strings: 58.3MB 105filespatch/strings: 37.8MB 120files So they are not the same. should we unpack the files? and put one on top the other? I really don't think it works this way... at this point it's pretty much just taking the windows file structure and reading first through the alphabet probably, if it'll even do that. Chances are it may not have anything to do with certain order of files in the BSA but it's not like we can use loot to specify which folder comes first. waylander47
I was referring to you, just merge them to the strings folder, and put the patch on the second. Let it overwrite. It has many of the same files, so I would let it overwrite since it is supposed to be loaded second
