False "save corruption" during gameplay

While im running a lot of mods including some form 43 and so on, the reason i might not be having this issue anymore is because i completely had to wipe my skyrim mods and reinstall everything in order.

Had done the wipe/reinstall thrice, to no avail. Though two times were unfortunately not by choice.

Like I said before. This issue is multi factoral. I was running a rock soild game. Then I added Wet and Cold. It started to pop up the issue every 40ish min. If I added iNeed it dropped that to 25ish min. But if I pulled off Frostfall, iNeed, and WC, then only added one of the 3 back. No issues. When I have 2 or more of those three. I have issues. Makes me believe active script load plays a roll. I picture the engine like a circus juggler. throwing balls in the air 5-6 balls in the air, no problem. As long as they are all stable and the same ( aka form 44). But make it 8 or 9 balls. It's going to badly after a bit. Way harder to keep in the air. Or make one or two of the balls different than the others in size and weight (form 43) and you start to have problems at even a lower number of balls.

 

What I need is a 128 bit engine, with an SKSE that works for it, and all the mod authors for the mods I like to slavishly conform their mods to my ideal skyrim play though....bu somehow, I'd still mod it till it broke. sigh...

 

 

I tried out the new bash. It kept throwing a lot of errors. But maybe I could give it a go again. It's one of 2 form 43 esp I have that I am unable to convert.

 

 

Also I'm kinda proud of how many times I could mention the term "balls" without it being weird.

I have discovered for my own sake anyway about 10 hours into this save with 400 mods and heavy scripts and SKSE64 i have no corruptions so far even when entering dungeons,crafting etc...i honestly dont know how but it seems for me the issues is gone.

Yes when I have mentioned and others as well that PS4 and XBONE users are getting the same problem as us, then I think we can rule out hardware! Those consoles are "closed environments" configured to the same specs of hardware and console OS (ie the processor is all the same, the graphics chip is all the same, the memory is all the same the manufacturer of the harddrives will be the same etc.), like I have said and many others in this thread it's not a hardware problem!

Dude, I can't believe I found this thread. I just started sse back up after a few months of hiatus. Re-did my mods, made sure everything was updated, tralala. Played fine for three days...boom. Saves all with the rainbow image saying they're corrupted today. I can load them if I exit the game but not from in-game itself. Also having issues with some mod-added dialogues like aft not showing up all the time while the functionality otherwise remains the same. If it helps, here's my messy long load order. I haven't finished merging and slimming it down yet because I typically try not to mess with it too much when I get it stable. I hope my load order can help narrow it down some.

And yet the hardware is prone to develop the same defects as in a pc. So it very well could be hardware induced. That would explain the rarity of it. One bit out of order and the engine goes bonkers.

I too have this problem, but not quite the same. Saves sometimes seem to be corrupt; colorful stripes and img in the image square as opposed to an img, and cannot load any savegame until restarting the game. However, the issue does not appear after a set interval with me; it seems to happen entirely randomly. It can pop up 20 minutes after starting the game, hours after starting the game, or it can be days between the issue popping up. So to me it's just been an a minor annoyance and have not looked for a solution to it; now I stumbled across this thread.

"Unfortunately ELFX is not compatible with RLO, so you will have to pick what you want as per your tastes. RLO is based on subtle and realistic lighting, while ELFX has awesome cinematic lighting and effects, thus is a lot more atmospheric or dramatic.

 

If you are looking for an alternative to RLO - ELFX is the one you should look at next - without a doubt one of the greatest lighting mods ever made. If you want a subtle realism mod, RLO might be for you. If you want a very cinematic and technically appealing mod, ELFX might be for you!
