lethielnyrond
I'm sorry to hear you're getting this Bug. If you'd like to try and help Bethesda deal with it for us, I put how to do it in a post a couple of pages back: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5196990-false-save-corruption-during-gameplay/?p=48379562. Basically they need your modlist, load order and a save from a Bugged game, and also a dxdiag file if you can get one. I really hope we can get this fixed. Lethiel Hi Lethiel, I'm trying out another modlist with a whittled and streamlined load order, I have a theory that it the corruption could be linked to the ammount of active esps. We know that Bethesda capped the esp limit for consoles to 150. Before I had any problems with this corruption I was running around the 140-150 active esps. That soon blossomed up to the 190 active esps in that load order I uploaded here. If I am correct that could be a pointer to what is going wrong as well. It's a theory, it may turn out to be complete hogwash but we'll see, it's all about testing isn't it! I will contact Bethesda and give them my load order, dxdiag and save for them to rummage through to see if they can find something. There is something genuine going on and I want to find out what it is as well, we can but wait and see ...

walshy71
Ok it's the 31st and Jleavey still hasn't responded or even looked at the message I sent him on the Beth forums. On another note playing with a reduced load order, I essentially still have all mods from the previous load installed, I merged the weapon and armour mods that could be merged safely with the Merge Plugins tool by Matortheeternal and made a bashed patch, It seems to be helping a lot, I'm quite certain our problem is still there it's not manifesting itself in an actual save corruption but sometimes after say 3.5-4 hrs of gameplay you can hear/see strange things going on in the engine. For example if standing still on a flat road looking through inventory, map or whatever you can hear the jump/landing sound fire like the papyrus engine can sometimes do if you jump too many times and it struggles to keep up, but I haven't jumped. Or if you meet helmeted npcs the npc's hair mesh is showing through the helmet. I haven't done any serious crafting yet so haven't came across that issue. Perhaps I should just bite the bullet and do a crap ton of crafting to get it out of the way ... LOL  :nuke:  Fingers crossed! Ramagast
Well, the jump sounds are fixed by the USEEP, but if you are using another sound mod it may bring them back. It's a well-known vanilla bug.For what it worth, after the 3 hours of uninterrupted play the game can crash and I wouldn't care =)I found my cause of crashes - it was a specific butterfly that spawned with the wrong mesh. Yeah. Really. Took the whole week to find this one.I had that theory about the number of .esps too, but since I'm actually pushing the bug to manifest, I'm running the game with 225 esp's. Let's see how it goes.

Webrunner
The false save corruption is hitting more people than is generally known I believe. I also have it since the last patch. My mod order hasn't changed a bit pre last patch and post past patch and now..its a crap shoot..5mins..30mins...2hours..it will and does happen. Sometimes its after I die...sometimes after a fight...sometimes it happens just standing around and doing nothing...there is no reason to it that I can find. Also, I noticed,..any hardsave I make with the console savegame command....when this false corruption hits....it lists ALL those games saved with the savegame console command as "429490 Unknown Location" See Screenshot here: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/82595628821312475/B74CCD4BEAB27537511C21C48FBA21E26B983C39/?interpolation=lanczos-none&output-format=jpeg&output-quality=95&fit=inside|2048:384&composite-to%3D%2A%2C%2A%7C2048%3A384&background-color=black This is a relatively new game I started and it took less than 30 mins to have this problem occur. Beyond frustrating. Didn't have any issue before the last patch. Regards. WebR Edited April 1, 2017 by Webrunner
Ramagast
Walshy71, yes, I sort of a founder of this topic - back in the day when I still thought it was a specific mod's fault.I've since completely re-installed Skyrim and rebuilt my load order. There were some complications with intensive CTD's, but I think I sorted them out and now I'm trying to get the bug on a new playthrough, so I can send all the files to Jleavey. It's still a fresh game, so I don't have our bug at the moment, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.Webrunner, if it's not too much trouble, can you send your save files, load order and "dxdiag" to Jleavey at Bethesda forums? Lethielnyrond posted an instruction several pages ago. The more people will do it, the higher is the chance that Bethesda will actually look into the problem. lethielnyrond
I would like to second the previous poster's remarks. :) That would be really great. Lethiel
