samopal
thanks for a hyper-swift replies :) whether the hard limit in save is there or not, only taking into consideration http://f4se.silverlock.org/ and the fact that f4 has way fewer mods than skyrim, keeps such troubles way off I was asking because I've just finished SEPTIM guide, modding skyrim se all the way, and I only now discovered this thread, realizing I'm not super-confident I want to invest x hours of gameplay in skyrim, risking I'll end up with my savefile broken when I reach 30lvl or so. After finishing SEPTIM my game works, but I'm discouraged now and probably move to f4 now.
Gothpunk4Christ
Yeah, over 1200 hours with a very heavily modded FO4 and no save issues. I've had a rekindling for Skyrim thanks to SE and it's been enough to pull me away from FO4 for a while, except that I still keep up with newer mods for both. holananz
oh my god!!I already playing without this issue for 1 month, now i had to deal with this issue againnn!! NOOOOOOlast time i had around 255 active plugin, with carefully selected mod, only mod with light scripting, but when im get greedy, i feel like i would not get this issue again, i start to merge patch, and add bunch of new mod that i thougt was safemaybe this could help guys, this is my recently installed mod skyUI,WARZONEWildcatSkyTest-Realisticanimaldouble badamourous advanturevisible favorite gearside bow quiverequipable tomesbetter master spellnerida followercaesia followeryenever follower is anyone start having problem with installed following mod?i will start uninstalled my recently mod, until i find my stable order again. see if my more than 400+mod can survive
Gothpunk4Christ
I think the general consensus right now is wait for SKSE64 or get rid of high scripting mods, most likely warzone, wildcat, skytest (I think that ones high), amorous, and not sure abut those particular followers. Some people report no issues with lower resource script mods, and some still do. I continue to run Warzone, wildcat, skytest (I think I might have uninstalled it when I hit my mod cap) and just deal with the bug.
slicksooch
How many plugins do you guys have? I notice it happens a lot less when I'm under 150 plugins. I just tested and the second I went to 149 I was able to get through the entire Live Another Life dungeon and aet uo while mods are loading in without having it pop up. Could ve coincidence but I remember when testing months ago 150 plugins was a magic number. Could anyone else test this? Untick all your lower plugins until you have 200 plugins active. Start a new game and see if you fet through the LAL dungeon without seeing the bug. Then go down to 149 and try it.
TheCruxis
This issue seems to be rather contradictory as well. For quite a while I was able to play for around two hours before this false corruption flag would appear. Now I can barely play for 30 min and it happens, despite the fact that I have added no mods. Indeed I even removed a mod (AFT) because it wasn't working properly anyway. And yes, I uninstalled it exactly as instructions said, and I did clean my save afterwards. This save corruption problem is just so odd, and so annoying that it cannot be pinned down and prevented.
tonycubed2
There is no such thing as perfectly cleaning your saves. Only sure thing is to load a save before installing mod.

ebkidd
Here is a list of mods which are script heavy. You can see the number of strings on the end of the name. That is the number of strings it adds as a starting point. I am running 286 mods with 165 plugins. The number of starting strings is 35,483 which gives me a good cushion of almost 30,000 strings. I started a game and am up to level 10 and one setting I played for 2.5 hours with no problem. Ambriel - The Lost Princess (Fully Voiced and Quest) SE - 309Alternate Start - Live Another Life Patch - 104Amazing Follower Tweaks SSE (Dheuster's Original) -390My Home is Your Home - 251Wet and Cold - 261Bring Out Your Dead - 244Run For Your Lives - 163When Vampires Attack - 168Campfire - 131Followers can Relax - 100Falskaar - 220Gray Fox Cowl - 122Hartmere Isle - 100Vilja in Skyrim - 298Bathing Beauties or Beefcake - Luxury Suite - 201Notice board - 230Undeath - 122Unread Books Glow - 104Wet and Cold - 262Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim - 125 I think if you keep the number of strings you start the game with down around 35,000 you will be alright. You can run ReSaver to see how many strings a save has.
