uGridsToLoad=5
uExterior Cell Buffer= 36
bPreemptivelyUnloadCells=0
iPreloadSizeLimit= 4194304000 / (for systems with 8GB or more of RAM, you can multiply it x2 for 16gb operational Ram systems)
bUseHardDriveCache=1 / (set to 0 if you have normal, "old" hard drive)
bUseBackgroundFileLoader=1
bSelectivePurgeUnusedOnFastTravel=1
uStaticNeverFade=1
iPostProcessMillisecondsLoadingQueuedPriority=5

bForceFullLOD=1

The standard preload size is iPreloadSizeLimit= 262144000
So how much is it actually allocating?
Well it is simple : divide it by 1024 to get number of kB, and then divide again by 1024 to get
MB.
So it is only 250Mb . Not very much.

Does it work? It seem to work for me. I have over 380 mods, 233 plugins, and over 39,000 strings. Make sure to make a save of your INI file so if it doesn't work for you, you will have a fall back.

This looks very promising. I am looking forward to see if this does the trick for Gothpunk4Chist.

I am now at 170 plugins, 430 mods and 35000 strings (Down from 240 plugins and 38000 strings). It seems I have been able to get a stable running system without any corruption after 90 minutes (Which also includes crafting and talking to several vendors. This used to be a total no-go for me).

I have been playing trough the same testing route on a new game that previously would result in corruption after about 20-40 minutes without crafting.

Hopefully the .ini tweak works, as I have had to disable a lot of mods I would very much like to keep in my load order.

Current Setup: https://modwat.ch/u/Archet1337

I have 32GB RAM, would that mean I should use iPreloadSizeLimit=16777216000 ?

Ah, well, hasn't helped for me. I have noticed that since I tweaked a few things the other night, this issue doesn't occur quite as often though. Game does seem to run a tad smoother though, but it was generally pretty smooth regardless.

I only did the double RAM worth though, even though I do have 32GB.

I may try bringing over my papyrus tweaks from LE and see if that might help, I know there are a few things to be considerate of with papyrus tweaks, but it helped the stability of my LE install and reduced overall script lag, though I'm not running as many script heavy mods, I don't want to rule that out. *edit* I had a little papyrus lag earlier when changing settings on a mod with the added spell, but it cleared up relatively quick, and I'm not running very heavy script mod anymore for the time being.. may just leave them alone...

Only thing I really did was remove Skyrim Flora overhaul, Realistic Aspen trees, Trees HD, and install Forests of Dibella instead, and also removed Immersive Animations, Unique Loot (kept throwing an error about a master since my update with the Dynamic Dungeon loot patch for it, and I prefer to run DDL over UL), removed Campfires, and still running without Book of UUNP. I think having removed Unique Loot was the biggest impact though.

This doesn't make any sense to me. How can some of us have this issue, but others do not? Even if they have substantially bigger load orders?

@ebkidd, would you mind sharing your modwatch with us? I am very curious to try your exact setup.

Maybe some of them don't play long enough to realize it? ...plebs lul.

Well i put in the settings now if i only dont freeze during combat then i should be able to tell if its going to corrupt or not. Right now freezing during combat is a lot bigger issue for me.

Yeah freezing would be an issue. After doing this, I didn't freeze yet, but I'd only freeze in combat once every 2-3 days game time. This is game-breaking, not reloading on death isn't quite.

I tried this today, didn't seem to make any difference at all.
