Griffinpowers
I can't download nexus mod manager or any mods, manually or otherwise. When I try to click on the green download button for the manager no download window pops up like it used to (got a new computer) and the download does not begin. When I try to click on the green download button "Download with NMM" nothing happens, when I click on "Download Manually" it takes me to the files tab of the mod but no file links appear. This happens with all of the mods I have looked at. I have tried about four different browsers and restarting my computer but nothing is working. Any help would be really appreciated! teamster
I am by no means an expert. But I can try to help you till the cavalry arrives. What browser do you use? Did you trying holding down ctrl+alt and clicking the file to download? I had a problem with google chrome and its downloading "app". I had to reset something in the google folder. Maybe same issue? Griffinpowers
I'm using google chrome, the other browsers didn't work either, i just tried the ctrl+alt click solution that you mentioned but it didn't work, how did you fix your chrome issue? Thanks for the help
teamster
This fixed my problem. It works! If you are using Google Chrome:Locate the "Local State" file (enter %LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\ in the Windows Explorer address bar). Open the file in a text editor such as Notepad while Google Chrome is closed. Search for "nxm" (Click Ctrl+F and enter nxm). Delete the line that says "nxm": false (if true, still delete the line). Save the file. Next time you click the Download with Manager button, Chrome should pop-up a dialog asking to launch the application registered for nxm links. Click Launch.
